Institute’s 2007 Financials Show Record Revenue and Careful Expense Control

Audited 2007 financials are now available on the Institute for Public Relations' website. Total cash and in-kind revenues reached $867,631, a new record. Program expenses for research, education and education/industry affairs totaled $635,201, down slightly from 2006 due to careful control of educational program expenses. Net assets, which represent reserves for future needs, increased by $83,608 for a year-end total of $380,760.

"We can't thank our supporters too much or too often - for their gifts to the Institute, registrations for our programs, sponsorships, and contributing to the intellectual flow of ideas and research," said Gary Sheffer, Executive Director-Communications & Public Affairs for General Electric, and chairman of the Development Committee of the Institute Board.

The full audit is available on the Institute's website.
